Where the AI learns from

  • FAQs

Question and answer pairs for what customers ask most. New workspaces can start with samples for their type of business. The AI skips a sample until you edit it.
  • Your website

Paste your web address. Chattoko finds your pages, you pick which ones to import, and they become documents the AI reads.
  • PDFs and documents

Upload a PDF, like a menu, price list or policy. Or write a document yourself.
  • Your product catalog

Connect Shopify and products sync by themselves. WooCommerce stores sync with one button.
  • Business facts

Your name, opening hours, address and key policies. The AI states these directly in chat and on calls. Hours can come from your opening-hours schedule.
  • Live store data

With Shopify, it checks stock and order status when the customer asks. With Zapiet, it checks your real pickup and delivery times.

It answers only from what you give it

The AI is told to use only the facts in your knowledge. If something isn't there, it doesn't guess. In chat it hands the customer to your team. On calls it offers to take a message.

Write your knowledge in one language. The AI answers in your customer's language and translates the facts.

The Playbook: how you work

Write down how your shop works, in one place: about you, the AI's role, how you talk, shop rules, step-by-step procedures, and when to bring in a person. Add notes for chat, email or calls, and examples of good answers.

Every AI reads it first: chat, email, calls, and the reply suggestions your team gets.

Test it before customers do

  1. Ask like a customer

Chat with your AI in the Playground. Try the same question as a chat, an email or a phone call.
  2. Save your tests

Save a question with what you expect: a word in the answer, or an action the AI must or must not take.
  3. Run them again

After you change something, run all your tests at once and see what passed.

Taking calls? Call me to test rings your phone, so you hear exactly what callers will hear.

Keep it up to date

Change an answer any time. There's nothing to retrain.

The Suggestions list shows questions your AI couldn't answer confidently. Add the good ones to your FAQs or your Playbook, or ask the AI to scan past chats for new FAQ ideas.

Questions people ask

Do I have to write everything from scratch?

No. Import pages from your website and your PDFs, connect your product catalog, and start from sample FAQs for your type of business.

Will the AI make things up?

It's told to answer only from the facts you give it. When it doesn't know, it says so and brings in your team or takes a message. Like any AI it can still get something wrong, so test common questions in the Playground and check the Suggestions list.

How does it learn about new products?

With Shopify, product changes sync by themselves, and there's a full sync every night. With WooCommerce, press Sync products after you make changes.

Can I control what goes to a person?

Yes. In the Playbook, list topics under When to bring in a person, such as refunds or custom orders. The AI hands those to your team.

Can I test the phone AI?

Yes. In the Playground, ask a question as a phone call to read what the AI would say. To hear it, use Call me to test and Chattoko rings your phone.

Does it learn from my customers' chats by itself?

No. It suggests new FAQs from questions it couldn't answer and from past chats. You decide which ones to add.

Which AI models does Chattoko use?

Chattoko's AI runs on Google Gemini and Anthropic Claude.

Teach your AI once, then let it answer.
