Get a new local number in Australia, the US or Canada. Or keep the number on your signs and cards, and forward it to your Chattoko number.
The AI answers
Choose when: every call, only when nobody picks up, or only when you're closed. It answers from your hours, prices and FAQs.
It takes the order or booking request
The AI takes the details and the caller's number, and puts the request on your call-back list. If you sell on Shopify, it can put orders through and send a link to pay.
It texts back
Callers nobody spoke to can get a text with a link to chat. When they reply by text, it lands in your inbox. This needs a number that can send texts (in Australia, a mobile number), and isn't on US or Canadian numbers yet.
You read the summary
Turn on call recording, and every call gets a recording, a transcript and a short AI summary in Chattoko.
A chat page you can share
Every workspace gets its own chat page, at chattoko.io/chat/ followed by your workspace code. Put the link in your email signature, on a QR code at the counter or in your social profiles. It opens your chat full screen, and the same AI answers it.

Questions people ask
Do I really not need a website?
Yes. You sign up with your business name and email, get a number, and teach the AI with FAQs or a PDF. No code. Your chat page works without a website too.
Can I keep the number I have?
Yes. Forward it to your Chattoko number, and callers keep ringing the number they know. To move the number itself to Chattoko, email support@chattoko.io and we will do the port with you. A port can take up to six weeks.
Where do I answer calls?
In your web browser on a computer, or have calls ring your mobile. A call that rings your mobile uses 3 minutes from your plan for each minute.
Does it book appointments?
It takes booking requests. The AI gets the details and the caller's number, and the request lands on your call-back list. You confirm the time with the customer.
Can it text my customers?
Yes, from a number that can send texts. In Australia that's a mobile number, which needs a one-time business check first (usually 1–3 business days). In the US, texts to US numbers need a one-time carrier registration; email us and we'll help.
What if the AI uses up its minutes?
AI voice minutes past your plan are US$0.69 a minute, up to twice your plan's AI minutes; then AI answering stops. You can set a lower stop. When the AI stops, calls go to voicemail or to your team.
