Questions people ask
Does Chattoko have a free plan?
No. Tidio does, and it is a good way to start if your budget is zero. Chattoko has a 14-day trial instead.
Why does Chattoko need a card for the trial?
The trial can include a real phone number and real call minutes, so we ask for a card to stop misuse. Nothing is charged for 14 days. Cancel in Settings, Billing before day 14 and you pay nothing. Tidio's 7-day trial needs no card.
Is AI chat really included?
Yes, in the plan price, with limits. Each conversation includes up to 30 AI replies. Plans include 300, 1,000 or 3,000 conversations a month. When they are used up, the AI stops and new chats go to your team until the 1st, or you add 100 more for $15. The AI also has a daily limit: 100, 300 or 900 replies a day on the chat-only plans, 200, 600 or 1,500 on Chat + Phone.
Can Chattoko answer phone calls?
Yes, on the Chat + Phone plans, from $116 a month billed annually. You get a number, call minutes and AI voice minutes, and the same AI that answers your chats answers your calls. You can move from a chat-only plan to phone at any time.
Does Chattoko work with Shopify?
Yes. Install it from the Shopify App Store and the plan goes on your Shopify bill. The AI answers from your catalog and checks orders. Our listing has no reviews yet; Tidio's has many.
Where do the Tidio numbers on this page come from?
