Test your AI in Playground
Playground lets you chat with your AI exactly as a customer would, using your real knowledge and AI actions, before customers do.
Steps
Open Brain ▸ Playground.
Under Try as, pick Chat, Email or Phone. Phone shows a text preview of what the AI would say on a call.
Type a question in Type a test message... and press Send.
Read the answer, and any AI action it used (like a stock check) under it. Tick Debug to see the raw details.
Not right? Fix the FAQ, document or Playbook, then ask again.
To keep a question as a test, press + New beside Test cases.
Fill in Name, Input message and at least one expected behaviour (an action it must call, one it must not call, or keywords), then press Create.
After each change to your knowledge, press Run all to check every test again.
Check it worked
Each test shows Passed or Failed, and Run all shows how many passed, for example 4/5 tests passed.
If it didn't work
- It says today's Playground runs are used up.
- Each plan has a daily number of runs, and Run all uses one per test. They start again at midnight UTC, which is 10 am in Brisbane.
- Playground asks about AI and your data.
- Press Allow to use AI tools on your account. You can change your answer later from the sign-out icon ▸ AI and your data….
- It says the AI is off or paused.
- The workspace needs an active plan, and an overdue payment pauses the AI. The owner can check Settings ▸ Billing & Plans.
